What Is The Cost Of Invisalign?
Hi, my name is Dr Stefanie. I’m a dentist of Dental House Group. Today, we’re going to talk about the cost of Invisalign. This is the question I get asked every day from our patients who want to straighten their teeth and don’t really want to do braces.
For those who don’t know, Invisalign is a premium product that can straighten your teeth with clear aligners rather than through the metal braces. It’s been around for about 20 years. When it first came into the market, it was a game-changer, and it cost a premium to straighten your teeth with Invisalign. I think back in the nineties, for each case, doesn’t matter how severe your crowding is or how crooked your teeth are, the standard price was around fifteen thousand dollars to straighten your teeth. But quickly, the company realised that in order to make things affordable for the general public, they need to reduce their price.
Over the years they have introduced tiers. The quicker we can finish your treatment, the cheaper it is for the patient. And because of this tier system, Invisalign has become a lot more affordable.
Surprisingly, this is an interesting fact, Invisalign is not cheaper around the world, because it’s a global brand. The average price of Invisalign in a country, like, for example, China, where you think that things are usually cheaper, it’s actually more expensive. In China, the cost of doing Invisalign is well over $10,000 Australian dollars per patient. It just goes to show that the price of Invisalign is not area dependent.
Just to summarise, as a general guideline, Invisalign can cost anywhere between four thousand dollars to ten thousand dollars to do, depending on who you see, and how complex your case is. Here at Dental House Group, we are a Platinum Invisalign provider, so we can definitely look after you.
